Nitrous Oxide:

Delivered though an inhaler, nitrous oxide (also known as laughing gas) is very effective at relieving anxiety.

IV Sedation:

A deep sense of calm and relaxation occurs with our conscious sedation techniques and oral sedatives.

Oral Sedation:

We can administer anti-anxiety medication for you to take before visiting the dentist.

Levels of Nitrous Sedation

There are three different levels of sedation that we do offer from mild to more moderate.

Firstly, the lightest sedation is with nitrous oxide and the patient can drive to the appointment and drive home.

Secondly, the next level of sedation is strictly with oral diazepam with different levels of the drug from mild to moderate. This requires a driver and monitoring systems.

Thirdly, we do oral moderate sedation to the point where the patient is almost asleep, which combines nitrous oxide/oral diazepam. This also requires the use of a driver and monitoring systems.
