As I complete my 30th year of practicing dentistry in Oakville, I never imagined being faced with a practice/health crisis like our current situation. Caring for your oral health continues to be of great importance to me, and as a result I am reaching out to inform you on what is available should a dental emergency arise, and any future dental appointments moving forward.

It is of great importance to me to keep you and your mouth healthy, as well as informed and up to date regarding your appointments and/or any oral health concerns you may have. To ensure this we have our full-time receptionist, Sigrid, available by phone and/or email Monday – Thursday from 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

Given the current situation, we want to assure you we are continuing to take the necessary precautions to keep both you and our staff safe and healthy. We have elevated the level of infection control procedures to ensure any patient arriving in our office is handled in the utmost secure and comfortable manner.

We as a team are continuing to stay healthy, safe and educated. With the increased amount of e-learning opportunities available, myself and our staff have been benefiting from this wealth of knowledge and look forward to sharing it with you.

In response to the Ontario Health Ministers call for help with Personal Protection Equipment, in an effort to support the front-line healthcare workers I have decided to provide them with some of our PPE to continue to treat those in need safely and swiftly.

Shore Side Dentistry is ready and prepared to treat you in a safe and timely manner once our Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario has given us the green light to proceed.
